A logistics center is an essential component in every supply chain. The manner in which companies organise the storage and distribution varies strongly and is dependent on many factors. The nature of the products, the speed of rotation and the conditioning of the storage facilities are important parameters.

The world is always changing; increasing turnover, changes to the picking preparation, cost savings, but also a take-over can cause less than optimal performance of existing logistics operations. To stay ahead of the competition, modification or expansion of your logistic centers may be unavoidable.

In 1979 Van Looy Group started designing distribution centers and warehouses and later added sorting centers and packaging production centers.
